摘要
近年来,中国近代史领域涌现出一批与西方“新政治史”相契合的研究成果,推动了近代政治史的发展和创新。在政治事件研究中,事件的方法论意义拓展了传统政治史的学术空间;在政治制度研究中,以过程为中心的动态分析使“活的制度史”成为可能;在政治行为研究中,普罗大众逐渐进入历史学家的视野;在政治文化研究中,历史与表象之间的张力为研究者带来了新的灵感;在政治概念研究中,“语言学转向”彰显了政治概念在历史进程中的双重功能。新政治史为近代政治史研究带来了活力和生机,也应看到其边界和限度,防止为新而新或矫枉过正的倾向。
In recent years,an increasing number of researchers in modern Chinese history have been inspired by the Western"new political history"paradigm.Their publications have catalyzed both the development and innovation in modern Chinese political history studies.In the study of specific political events,they expand the scope of traditional political history by emphasizing the methodological significance of these events.In examining political institutions,they advocate for processtracing analysis,making"lived institutional history"a viable approach.When studying political behavior,they bring ordinary people back into the historians focus.In the realm of political culture,they are inspired by the tension between history and its representation.Regarding political concepts,their embrace of the"linguistic turn"highlights the dual functions of political concepts in the historical process.While the""new political history"has injected vigor into the study of modern political history,it also has its boundaries and limitations.Recognizing these limits is crucial to prevent the overstretch or misuse of this paradigm.
