With the development of technology and social progress,the smart grid has gradually become a new direction for the development of power systems.Electric power engineering technology plays a crucial role in the construction of smart grids.This article introduces the concept and characteristics of smart grids,and then analyzes in detail the application of electric power engineering technology in the construction of smart grids,including power generation technology,power transmission technology,power transformation technology,and other aspects.Through in-depth research on electric power engineering technology,we can better promote the development of smart grids and improve the stability and efficiency of power systems.
