摘要
本文简述了瑞士苏黎世大学毕鹗教授所做的英文学术报告《早期中国诗体的铭文证据及其起源》。该报告借助生成音系学这一理论工具,采用统计方法探讨了上古汉语押韵的起源、铭文中的韵律模式及其语言学解释,揭示了铭文所反映的若干上古韵律特征。该报告的观点、论证方法和材料为汉语声调的产生、上古汉语韵律类型、诗体格律等方面的研究提供了有益启示。
This is a synopsis of Inscriptional Evidence and the Origins of Poetic Form in Early China,a lecture given by Professor Wolfgang Behr from University of Zurich.From the perspective of Generative Phonology and with the help of statistic evidence,the lecture mainly addresses three questions pertinent to poetic patterns in inscriptional materials of early China:prehistory of rhyming as a literary device,prosodic patterns in inscriptional materials and the linguistic explanations thereof.The argument,evidence and conclusion are supposed to shed light on the study of many important topics in Archaic Chinese,such as tone genesis,prosodic typology and versification.
