摘要
结合半导体激光器和多模光纤的特性,通过对高斯光束的发散特性的分析,利用光线迹踪法,从数值上得到半导体激光器与半锥形多模光纤耦合效率与锥形结构的关系,为制造半锥形多模光纤提供了理论依据,给出了一种易实现、高耦合效率的耦合新方法.
It is important to increase the efficiency of coupling the laser diode (LD) to the multimode fiber in the power output of the LD. A novel method for coupling the laser diode to the multimode fiber with a semitapered structure is proposed, based on the analysis of the Gauss beam propagation character and the beam raytraced method. This method gives the high coupling efficiency and is easy to manufacture.
