摘要
职业教育是近现代教育体系的重要组成部分。美国的职业教育十分发达并且很有特色。美国社会历史发展已充分表明 ,职业教育是培育应用型人才的摇篮 ,是推动科技进步和经济发展的杠杆 ,也是缓解社会矛盾的安全阀。美国发展职业教育的成功经验是值得我们参考和借鉴的 ,其主要问题和深层次矛盾则是我们应引以为戒的。
Vocational education is an important component of modern educational system. America's vocational education is advanced and has its distinguishing features. History has already demonstrated the important role which vocational education played in promoting America's scientific and economic progress. The successful experience of America's vocational education certainly merits our attention.
