PRELIMINARY STUDY ON THREE GROUPS OF SOYBEAN RHIZOBIA FOR TOLERANCE TO STRESSES

摘要 对大豆根瘤菌三类共生体56个菌株和9个参照菌株进行了抗逆性试验。结果表明,中华根瘤菌的耐盐、耐高温、耐碱能力高于慢生和超慢生大豆根瘤菌,并存在有耐酸能力的菌株。中华根瘤菌在37℃高温下连续传10代后,其结瘤和固氮能力不受影响。 Fifty-six strains from three groups of soybean rhizobia and nine reference strains were examined for tolerance to stresses. Twenty-five strains of S. fredii varied in tolerance to salt-stress ranging from 0. 1M--0. 7M NaCl, all were tolerant of 37 C, twenty-three strains were capable of growth at pH10, and two strains exhibited acid-tolerance. Strains of B. japonicum and ESG were not tolerant to 0. 1M NaCl, and unable to grow at 35 ℃ ,all were tolerant of pH9 but not pH10. After serial subculture at 37℃, S. fredii strains retained symbiotic effectiveness.
