Five seasons and relative narrative which five seasons are matched up with five elements and days and months of one year are matched up with five seasons and five Zang organs often occur in all varieties of classic medical books about the theory of traditional Chinese medicine. These narratives are very chaotic and have multiform of arrangements and compositions, which agreed with the states in other ancient books in pre - Qin Dynasty. The cause of this state is that five seasons refer to one pre- ancient calendar system, which had some connection with five elements and was obsolescent. That people in the following historical phases knew little about that calendar knowledge which was confused with the present ones results in the unanimous state about the seasons. This point should be paid attention when relative subjects are studied in traditional Chinese medicine.
