This paper has introduced the abilities that the 30t VOD/VHD vacuum refining furnace had achieved for decarburizing and keeping chromium ,deoxidizing and degassing and purifying molten steel in vacuum, and analysed objectively technique level achieved of this vacuum metallurgical equipment , combining practice with the specialized theory.
