摘要
针对多媒体电子邮件、视频检索、窄带网络视频传输及其通信等领域的应用要求,介绍低速率视频编码技术及低比特率视频压缩编码标准的进展,讨论典型的低速率视频编码技术的应用。
To meat the requirements of the multimedia emails,video retrieval,narrowband video transmission and communications,the authors introduce the technology of the low bit rate video coding and the development of the low bit rate video compression coding standards,and also discuss the typical application of the low bit rate video coding technology.
