摘要
加勒比海地区矿产资源丰富,开展其矿产资源禀赋、勘查开发形势与合作前景研究,对中资企业在该地区进行矿业投资具有重要的指导意义。研究表明:(1)加勒比海地区在中—新生代经历了强烈的造山运动和岩浆活动,发育大规模的构造-岩浆岩带,具有优越的构造运动-岩浆事件成矿条件;(2)铜、金、镍、钴、铝土矿等矿产资源较丰富,尤其是镍、铝土矿的储量居世界前列,主要矿产大致可划分为中生代和新生代两个主要成矿期次;(3)多米尼加是加勒比海地区矿产勘查投资最多的国家,金矿是勘查投资最多的矿种,大型矿业公司是勘查投资的主体,加拿大和美国的矿业公司是矿产勘查开发的主导者;(4)中生代—新生代的铜、金、镍、钴等矿产是该地区今后勘查找矿的主攻方向。未来,中国与加勒比海地区的矿产勘查开发合作和矿产品贸易合作前景较好。
The Caribbean region is abundant in mineral resources.The study on the mineral resources endowment,exploration&development situation and cooperation prospect of the Caribbean region has important directive significance for Chinese enterprises to carry out mining investment in Caribbean region.Research shows that(1)The Caribbean region has experienced strong orogeny and magmatic activity in the Mesozoic and Cenozoic,and formed large-scale tectonic-magmatic belts with superior ore-forming geological conditions.(2)Copper,gold,nickel,cobalt and bauxite are very abundant in the Caribbean region.The reserves of nickel and bauxite of the Caribbean region leap into the top position in the world.The mineralization stages of main mineral resources of the Caribbean region can be roughly divided into the Mesozoic and Cenozoic.(3)The Dominican Republic is the country which has the largest mineral resources exploration investment in the Caribbean region.Gold has the largest exploration investment among all the kinds of mineral resources in the Caribbean region.The exploration investment of mineral resources of the Caribbean region is mainly from major mining companiess.Mining companies from Canada and the United States are the leaders in mineral resources exploration and development in the Caribbean region.(4)The mineral resources exploration targets of the Caribbean region in the future are the copper,gold,nickel and cobalt which are formed in the Mesozoic and Cenozoic.In the future,China has broad prospects for mining cooperation with the Caribbean region.
