摘要
从媒介史视角而言,晚清时期是湖南报刊取代书籍的历史转型时期。在此历史转型中,报刊是传播思想的利器,其技术特征是形塑近代社会和文化形态的关键要素。“思想”与“印刷”的双重革命,在近代湖湘文化转型中发挥了重要作用,因为其建构了“政治型”的文化认同机制、“学习型”的文化选择机制和“团结型”的文化传播机制,实现了湖湘文化由“雕版文化”向“印刷文化”的转型,推动了文化领导权由传统士人向近代的“报人”和“党人”转移。
In terms of media history,Hunan experienced a period of historical transformation in the late Qing Dynasty,in which newspapers and periodicals are the powerful tools for disseminating ideas,whose technical characteristics are the key elements in shaping the modern society and cultural forms.The dual revolution of“ideology”and“printing”played an important role in the transformation of modern Hunan culture,as it constructed the cultural identification mechanism of“political type”,the cultural selection mechanism of“learning type”and the cultural dissemination mechanism of“unity type”.It has achieved the transformation of Hunan culture from a“woodblock culture”to a“print culture”,and promoted the transfer of cultural leadership from traditional scholars to modern“pressmen”and“party members”.
