摘要
视觉是个体了解世界的重要能力,依靠视觉获取的信息是形成知识的必要条件,其真实性与客观性密切影响着知识的可靠性。关于视觉的讨论主要集中在视觉过程的划分上,一种是整体性,另一种是阶段性,后者将视觉过程划分为早期视觉和后期视觉两个阶段,但由于早期视觉作用过程十分短暂,这一阶段是否真实存在一直备受争论。近年来,视觉失认症的临床案例、注意的选择机制以及行为科学的实验证明等都表明早期视觉阶段是客观存在的,并在特殊的情况下可以帮助人们做出快速的应激反应。早期视觉的存在对知识的形成、心身关系的阐释和主体对外部世界的解释等方面都产生了深远的影响。
Vision is an important ability for individuals to understand the world,and the information obtained through vision is a necessary condition for knowledge formation.The authenticity and objectivity of visual informa-tion closely affect the reliability of knowledge.Discussions about vision mainly focus on the division of the visual process.One perspective views it as holistic,while the other perspective divides it into early vision and later vision stages.However,there has been ongoing debate about the existence of the early vision stage due to its very brief duration.In recent years,clinical cases of visual agnosia,the mechanism of attentional selection and experimental evidence from behavioral science have all demonstrated the objective existence of the early vision stage,which can help individuals make rapid reflexive responses under specific circumstances.The existence of the early vision stage has had profound implications for knowledge formation,the interpretation of mind-body relationships and the un-derstanding of the external world by individuals.
