摘要
城乡数字不平等是我国推进数字乡村和实施乡村振兴战略不容忽视的挑战。基于省际面板数据,考察城乡数字不平等对乡村发展的影响。研究结果表明:城乡数字不平等对乡村发展产生直接的抑制效应。考虑可能存在内生性以及其他衡量偏误的影响后,这一效应依然稳健。从传导机制看,数字不平等对新型城镇化产生阻滞效应,进而减缓了乡村发展。上述结果为认识数字不平等、城镇化阻滞以及乡村发展之间的关系,完善乡村包容性数字支持政策提供了新的思路和经验证据。
Digital inequality between urban and rural is a challenge that can not be ignored in promoting digital countryside and implementing Rural Revitalization Strategy.Based on the provincial panel data,this paper analyzes the impact of the urban-rural digital inequality on the rural development.The results show that the digital inequality has a direct inhibitory effect,which remains robust after considering the possible endogeneity and the impact of other measurement errors.From the perspective of transmission mechanism,the digital inequality has a blocking effect on the new urbanization,which slows down the rural development.The above findings provide new ideas and empirical evidence for understanding the relationship between the digital inequality,urbanization block and the rural development,and improving rural inclusive digital support policies.
