面向天基数据中心的编码修复数据流调度

Data Flow Scheduling for Coded Data Repair in Space-based Data Centers

摘要 天基数据中心是一种能够实现全球覆盖和大数据存储的未来卫星互联网关键应用范式,它由多个卫星存储节点共同构成分布式存储系统。卫星的星载存储器不可避免地会因寿命或宇宙射线影响而出现故障,从而导致数据丢失。纠删码是分布式存储系统中常用的冗余策略用以保障数据的可靠性。然而,纠删码的修复过程会产生大量的冗余流量开销。提出了一种面向天基数据中心的编码修复数据流的调度策略,通过综合优化修复源节点、修复路径和修复数据流带宽,降低数据修复时延,并以星链卫星网络为背景进行了仿真,仿真结果表明经过流量调度后修复时延显著降低。 The space-based data center,a critical application paradigm for the future satellite internet,comprises multiple satellite storage nodes that form a distributed storage system.The onboard storage devices on satellites are inevitably susceptible to failures caused by lifespan limitations or cosmic radiation,resulting in data loss.Erasure codes are widely used in distributed storage systems as a redundancy strategy to ensure data reliability.However,the repair process of erasure codes incurs a substantial overhead in terms of redundant traffic.In this study,we propose a scheduling strategy for coding repair data fiows specifically tailored to spacebased data centers.By jointly optimizing the repair source nodes,repair paths,and repair data flow bandwidth,we aim to reduce the repair latency.Simulation experiments are conducted using a satellite constellation network as the background,and the results demonstrate a significant reduction in repair latency after the implementation of flow scheduling.
