摘要
使用2008-2013年中国工业企业微观数据和海关数据,通过测算126个国家的数字经济发展水平,实证检验了目的国数字经济对我国出口产品质量的影响。研究发现,目的国数字经济提高了我国出口产品质量,而市场竞争是目的国数字经济发展影响我国出口产品质量的关键渠道,企业对出口目的地、出口产品集中度的调整能够助力企业实现产品质量升级。进一步对不同特征的企业、行业、目的国进行划分,发现目的国数字经济对我国出口质量的影响存在异质性。文章为促进贸易高质量发展,积极推进我国与潜力国家的经贸合作提供了实证依据。
This paper empirically tests the effects of destination country’s digital economy on the quality of China’s export products by measuring the digital economy development level of 126 countries,utilizing the combination of Chinese industrial enterprises database and China Customs Data from 2008 to 2013.Results show that the level of digital economy development in the destination country has improved the quality of China's export products,and the main channel is through the market competition,while the adjustment of the export destination and the concentration of export products can help enterprises achieve product quality upgrades.Furthermore,we find that these effects have strong heterogeneity among different firm types,industries and destination countries.This paper provides an empirical basis for promoting the high-quality development of trade and actively promoting economic and trade cooperation between China and potential countries.
