摘要
安德烈·勒菲弗尔提出的“赞助人”概说标志着20世纪70年代翻译研究“文化转向”的纵深拓展。中医西传的历程中曾涌现出多个“赞助人”,其中成立于1982年的蓝罂粟出版社作为中医药典籍的出版重镇,迄今已发行13部医籍英译本。从底本选择、文字图示信息与出版情况三个维度梳理其译本的发行轨迹,并基于读者评论探析译本的读者范畴,分析其反馈的背后动因,旨在为域外中医学古籍英译的出版与接受提供借鉴与参考。
The “Patronage” concept put forward by André Lefevere marked the deepening development of “cultural turn” in translation studies in the 1970s. In the history of westward transmission of TCM, many patrons have emerged,among which the Blue Poppy Press, founded in 1982, has published 13 English translations of TCM classics, making it a major publishing institution of TCM classics. We sorted out its publishing track from the selection of TCM classics’ master copies, the text schema and its dissemination, analyzed its readers’ category based on their comments, and dug the motivation behind the feedback, aiming to provide reference for the dissemination and acceptance of TCM classics’ English translations overseas.
