Advances in Zirconium Isotope Analytical Methods and Their Applications in Geological Studies

摘要 锆(Zr)属于典型的高场强元素,是示踪岩浆源区和岩浆作用过程的重要地球化学元素。热电离质谱(TIMS)、多接收电感耦合等离子体质谱(MC-ICP-MS)和激光剥蚀系统(LA)与MC-ICP-MS联用等技术的应用极大地提高了Zr同位素的测试精度、分析效率和测试的空间分辨率,推进了Zr同位素地球化学的发展和应用。本文介绍了溶液Zr同位素测试中的化学分离流程和质谱测试方法,总结了原位微区Zr同位素测试方法的研究进展,评述了Zr同位素分馏机制及其在地质中的应用。在此基础上,结合作者现有研究进展对Zr同位素分馏机制及其在岩浆分异过程中的应用进行了进一步讨论。随着地质储库和分馏机制研究的不断深入,Zr同位素在固体地球科学领域将会得到更加广泛的应用。 Zirconium is a typical high field-strength element and has been widely used in tracing magma sources and magmatic processes.The applications of thermal ionization mass spectrometry(TIMS),multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(MC-ICP-MS),and laser ablation(LA)-MC-ICP-MS have greatly improved the accuracy,efficiency,and spatial resolution of stable Zr isotope analysis and will further promote the development and application of stable Zr isotopic geochemistry.In this paper,we have introduced recently reported methods of chemical separation and mass spectrometry analysis in the process of bulk-rock Zr isotope measurement,summarized improvements of in-situ Zr isotope analytical method,and reviewed the Zr isotopic fractionation mechanism and its application in geological studies.Along with our currently obtained Zr isotope data,we have further discussed the potential Zr isotope fractionation mechanism in the magma differentiation process and its application for studying the magma differentiation process.With the advanced studies on geological reservoir determination and fractionation mechanism constraint,Zr isotope will be more widely applied in researches of solid earth science.
