5G毫米波规划及应用增强技术研究

摘要 毫米波频段具有大带宽、低时延、高速率等优点,具有很广泛的应用前景,同时较高的传播损耗也对运营商的未来毫米波覆盖规划提出了较大挑战。在介绍毫米波频段特性的基础上,针对高频网络规划所面临的传播损耗高、覆盖盲区大等受限的劣势简述并分析了目前研究较为火热的智能超表面与中继通信两种毫米波覆盖增强技术,并结合增强技术应用前景与潜在部署环境信息,为运营商未来毫米波场景规划提出了可行性参考建议。 The millimeter-wave band used in mobile communications has the advantages of large bandwidth, low delay, and high speed, and has a wide range of application prospects. Meanwhile, the high propagation loss also poses a great challenge to operators’ future millimeter-wave coverage planning. On the basis of introducing the characteristics of millimeter wave frequency band, the disadvantages of high-frequency network planning, such as high propagation loss and large coverage blind spots, are briefly described, and then two hotspot technologies for millimeter wave coverage enhancement, namely reconfigurable intelligent surface and relay communication, are analyzed. In addition, combining the application prospect of enhancement technologies and potential deployment environment information, feasible reference suggestions are proposed for operators to plan millimeter wave scenarios in the future.
