This paper expounds the application, basic principles and characteristics, application scope and limiting factors of RTK intelligent information operation system, and discusses the application of RTK system in urban surveying and mapping, including surveying and mapping preparation, environmental surveying and mapping, real-time surveying, topographic mapping, planning and setting out.
