Monitoring the Activity of Astrocytes in Learning and Memory

摘要 Introduction Learning and memory are crucial for our ability to perform the activities of daily life and to guide future behavior based on past experience[1].Previous studies have focused extensively on the role of neurons in learning and memory,suggesting that the information is stored in the brain as changes in synaptic efficiency and neuronal excitability within participating neuronal ensembles[2].
