As the transmission part of brake caliper unit, nylon bushing bears the functions of load force,anti-friction and anti-wear.At present, the brake caliper unit of domestic rail vehicle basically adopts imported products. In order to break the monopoly, and independently develop the brake caliper unit nylon bushing of standard metro. In this paper, modified nylon materials with different formulations are prepared by using fiber reinforced,PTFE particle blending and filling, liquid oil treatment and other processing method. In order to focus on improving the water absorption, friction and wear properties, mechanical properties and other physical parameters of the improved nylon material that have a greater impact on the brake caliper unit, the modified nylon material that meets the application requirements is designed and developed by comparing and testing the physical and mechanical properties of modified nylon samples with different formulations.Under the high and low temperature environment, the size change test of two kinds of commonly used bushing samples with different specifications in standard metro brake caliper unit is carried out.The feasibility of interference fit between bushing and metal parts is studied, which provides theoretical basis for reasonable tolerance design of bushing dimension.
