摘要
为实现不同传输跨距光通信网络智能组网,光纤放大器需具备自动光谱倾斜度控制功能,提出了一种基于双耦合器采样端探测光功率之差的控制方法。该控制方法可实现光纤放大器输出光谱倾斜度探测,结合泵浦功率调整实现自动光谱倾斜度控制。推导了双耦合器光谱探测的理论解析公式,并进行了工程应用条件下的数值模拟,得到光谱倾斜度与两耦合器采样端探测功率差值之间的关系。设计了一套控制逻辑,根据耦合器采样端插损不同,设定探测功率差值的目标值,结合泵浦光功率调整,实现光纤放大器自动光谱倾斜度控制,开展了相关实验,实验结果与理论相符。该控制方法实现简单,成本较低,具备广泛工程应用前景。
In order to realize the intelligent networking of optical communication networks with different transmission spans,optical fiber amplifiers need to have the function of automatic spectrum tilt control.A control method based on the difference of optical power detected by the sampling end of double couplers is proposed.This control method can realize the detection of the output spectrum tilt of the optical fiber amplifier,and realize the automatic spectrum tilt control combined with the pump power adjustment.The theoretical analytical formula of the double coupler spectrum detection is derived,and the numerical simulation under the engineering application conditions is carried out,and the relationship between the spectral tilt and the difference of the detection power at the sampling end of the two couplers is obtained.A set of control logic is designed.According to the different insertion loss at the sampling end of the coupler,the target value of the detection power difference is set.Combined with the pump power adjustment,the automatic spectral tilt control of the optical fiber amplifier is realized.The relevant experiments are carried out,and the experimental results are consistent with the theory.The control method is simple to realize,low cost,and has a wide range of engineering applications.
