Novel Technologies for the Tanning Wastewater Treatment

摘要 制革工业是许多发展中国家经济的主要支柱,但由于其排放的废水造成严重的环境污染,制革工业正面临着来自公众和政府的严峻挑战,为了环境的安全,对制革废水进行充分的处理势在必行。由于目前常规的处理方法并不能有效处理制革废水,详细介绍了近年来处理制革废水的新技术,其中包括新材料和新型微生物的应用,以及新型联合工艺。最后对制革废水处理工艺的发展趋势进行了展望。 The leather industry is the mainstay of the economy for many developing countries. However, the leather industry is facing severe challenges from the public and the government because of the serious environmental pollution caused by the wastewater discharged from the leather industry. For the safety of the environment, adequate treatment of leather tanning wastewater is imperative. Due to the fact that conventional treatment methods cannot effectively treat tanning wastewater at present, the new technologies for treating tannery wastewater in recent years are introduced in detail, including the application of new materials and new microorganisms, as well as the new combined process. Finally, the development trend of tanning wastewater treatment technology was prospected.
