摘要
李端棻,戊戌变法主要参与者之一,享有“北京大学首倡者”“中国近代教育之父”等盛誉。李端棻的教育思想主要集中在强调发展近代教育的重要作用、设计近代教育发展方案等方面。他首倡京师大学堂,上书清廷请求改变传统教育,发展家乡文教事业,对中国近代教育改革、教育发展产生了重要影响。
Li Duanfen,one of the main participants in the Hundred Days’Reform of 1898,enjoys the reputation of“the initiator of Peking University”and“the father of modern Chinese education”.Li Duanfen’s educational thought mainly focuses on emphasizing the important role of developing modern education and designing the development plan of modern education.He initiated the school of Beijing Normal University and petitioned to the Qing government to change the traditional education and develop the cultural and educational cause of his hometown,which had an important impact on the educational reform and development of modern China.
