摘要
我国要坚持统筹推进国内法治和涉外法治,离不开通晓国际法律规则、善于处理涉外法律事务的涉外法治人才队伍。法律英语作为涉外法律服务的工作语言,已成为政法类高校培养涉外法治人才的关键之一。文章基于在政法院校开展的法律英语教学实践及相关访谈和问卷调查,探讨了针对法学专业和英语专业本科生开设的《法律英语》课程在教学内容、先修课程、教材和实践环节等方面存在的问题和挑战,并为完善更具针对性、层次性和实践性的法律英语教学体系建设提出对策建议。
China’s adherence to the coordinated promotion of domestic and foreign-related rule of law is inseparable from foreign-related legal professionals, who are both proficient in international legal rules and good at handling foreign-related legal affairs. As the working language for legal work concerning foreign affairs, legal English has become one of the keys to cultivating foreign-related legal professionals in universities of political science and law. Based on the legal English teaching practice and relevant interviews and questionnaires, this paper discusses the main problems and varied challenges in legal English teaching for law majors and English majors, and puts forward suggestions for a legal English teaching system that is more differentiated, progressive and closely linked to practice.
