摘要
立足于当下大力发展数字经济的特征事实,多维度实证检验数字经济发展对企业创新活动的影响。研究发现:数字经济发展有助于提升企业专利申请总量与专利授权总量,这一结论在工具变量和准自然实验等稳健性检验后仍然成立。并且细分不同类型专利发现,数字经济发展总体上对发明专利的促进作用更强。异质性检验结果发现,在区域异质性上,相比于东部地区企业,数字经济发展对中西部地区企业的创新激励效果更强;在所有制异质性上,相比于非国有企业,数字经济发展对国有企业的创新激励效果更强;在新企业与在位企业异质性上,相比于没有发明专利申请经历的新企业,数字经济发展对有发明专利申请经历的在位企业具有更强的创新激励作用。创新活动的拓展研究发现,研发端方面,数字经济发展对企业研发端的影响存在广延边际不显著而集约边际显著的非对称效应;创新结构方面,数字经济发展显著提升了企业发明专利占比,有助于改善企业创新结构、激励企业实质性创新倾向;创新质量方面,数字经济发展有助于实现企业创新数量与创新质量的双提升;合作创新行为方面,数字经济发展有助于激励企业合作创新,特别是产学研合作创新。
Based on the fact of vigorously developing the digital economy at present,the paper makes a multi-dimensional empirical test of the impact of the development of digital economy on corporate innovation activities.Study shows that the development of digital economy helps to improve the total volume of patent application and patent licensing.The conclusion is still valid after robust tests such as instrumental variable and quasi-natural experiment.Patent classification shows that the development of digital economy in general has stronger promotion on patent of invention.The results of the heterogeneity test find that in terms of regional heterogeneity,compared with enterprises in the eastern region,the development of the digital economy has a stronger effect on the innovation incentives of enterprises in the central and western regions;in terms of ownership heterogeneity,compared with non-state-owned enterprises,the development of the digital economy has a stronger effect on the innovation incentives of state-owned enterprises;in terms of the heterogeneity between new enterprises and incumbent enterprises,compared with new enterprises without application experience of invention patent,the development of digital economy has stronger effect on incumbent enterprises with invention patent application experience.Further research on the innovation activities finds out that on the R&D side,the impact of digital economy development on the R&D side of enterprises has an asymmetric effect that the extensive margin is not significant but the intensive marginal is significant;in terms of innovation structure,the development of the digital economy has significantly increased the proportion of enterprises’invention patents,which helps to improve the innovation structure of enterprises and stimulate the substantive innovation tendency of enterprises;in terms of innovation quality,the development of the digital economy helps to achieve double improvement in the quantity and quality of enterprise innovation;in terms of cooperative innovation behaviors,the development of the digital economy encourages enterprises to innovate cooperatively,especially industry-university-research innovative cooperation.
