SPH Simulation of Water Entry of a Slender Body

摘要 传统的数值方法难以模拟跨域无人航行器跨水—空交界面过程中的复杂交界面及流固耦合问题。针对跨域无人航行器入水问题,应用光滑粒子法(SPH)模拟研究了细长体入水过程。首先,对SPH方法进行了改进:为了提高数值稳定性,同时使用了传统的钟形函数和双曲型核函数;为了提高计算精度,在SPH方法中加入了粒子迁移技术并进行了简化处理。然后,应用SPH方法模拟了水平圆柱入水过程,液面形态演变和入水深度变化的模拟结果均与试验相符。最后,应用SPH方法模拟研究了细长体入水问题。结果表明,文中方法能够有效模拟细长体入水过程中细长体的运动和自由液面的演化问题,细长体的密度和入水速度会影响入水过程中的自身运动和液面形态。 It is difficult for traditional numerical methods to simulate the complex interface and fluid-structure interaction in the process of water entry of a cross-domain unmanned vehicle.In this paper,the water entry process of a slender body was simulated using smoothed particle hydrodynamics(SPH).First,the SPH method is improved:In order to improve the numerical stability of SPH method,two different kernel functions are used simultaneously.One kernel is a traditional bell-shaped function and the other is a hyperbolic-shaped kernel function.In order to improve the calculation accuracy,the particle shifting technology is introduced with simplification of the algorithm.Then,the SPH method is used to simulate the water entry process of a horizontal cylinder.The simulation results of the evolution of liquid surface morphology and the change of the water entry depth agree with the experiment data.Finally,the SPH method is used to simulate and study the water entry of the slender body.The results show that the numerical method in this paper can effectively simulate the motion of the slender body and the evolution of the free liquid surface during the water entry process.
