现代动物园是管理和展出野生动物的机构,是开展物种保护、科学研究、保护教育和文化休闲活动的重要场所。现代动物园圈养条件下亚洲象的饲养管理是一项既古老又现代的工作,昆明动物园亚洲象行为管理工作主要由展区设施设计、环境丰容、行为训练、社群构建和操作日程5个方面组成。介绍了展区设施设计、环境丰容、行为训练、社群构建和操作日程在亚洲象行为管理中的作用和意义。
Modern zoos are institutions that manage and exhibit wild animals,and they are important places for species conservation,scientific research,conservation education,and cultural and leisure activities.The feeding and management of Asian elephants under the conditions of modern zoo captive is both ancient and modern.The behavior management of Asian elephants in Kunming Zoo is mainly composed of five aspects:exhibition area facility’s design,environmental enrichment,behavior training,community construction and operation schedule.The role and significance of the exhibition area facility’s design,environmental enrichment,behavior training,community building and operation schedule in the behavior management of Asian elephants were introduced respectively.
