摘要
坛罐山遗址位于四川眉山市东坡区岷江支流东醴泉河南岸,2020年3月至11月,四川省文物考古研究院等单位对该遗址进行了考古发掘,清理面积600平方米,出土及采集石制品246件。石制品大多以砾石为原料,岩性以石英砂岩为主。石制品类型包括石核、石片、断块/断片/碎屑及石锤、石砧、砍砸器、刮削器、凹缺刮器、重型刮削器、锯齿刃器、使用砾石等工具,共有3组可拼合标本。工具多以砾石或断块为毛坯,采用锤击法加工,多见单边、单向修理,整体上属于中国南方旧石器时代主工业。坛罐山遗址为成都平原首次发现并经科学发掘的旧石器时代遗址,将四川盆地古人类活动推进至中更新世中期,为讨论这一区域古人类生产生活提供了宝贵资料。
The Tanguanshan site in Dongpo District of Meishan City is situated on the south bank of East Liquan River,which is a tributary of the Minjiang River.From March to November 2020,a joint archaeological excavation was conducted by Sichuan Province Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and other institutions as a salvage archaeological project,covering an area of 600 m^(2),during which 246 pieces of stone artifacts were recovered including cores,flakes,debris,choppers,scrapers,denticulates,and chunks.Three groups of refitted stone artifacts were identified.Quartz sandstone made up the majority of raw materials at the site,which were available from local ancient riverbeds.Analysis shows that direct hard hammer percussion without core preparation is the principal flaking technique.Chopper-cores account for the main type of cores.Most whole flakes were produced with a natural platform.Stratigraphic comparison suggests that the site possibly deposited during the middle stage of Middle Pleistocene.As the first site dated to Paleolithic Age in Chengdu Plain,the excavation of Tanguanshan site is of great significance in the study of early hominid occupation,migration and cultural exchange during Pleistocene.
