西太平洋东印度洋Suomi-NPP/VIIRS海表温度印证 被引量:1

Validation of Suomi-NPP/VIIRS Sea Surface Temperature in the Western Pacific Ocean and Eastern Indian Ocean

摘要 本文利用现场测量数据对Suomi-NPP/VIIRS(Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite)海表温度(Sea Surface Temperature SST)数据进行印证,研究区域为80°E—118°E,10°S—23°N,时间范围为2015年5月—2018年12月,两者匹配的时间窗口为1 h,空间窗口是0.02°。印证结果显示,SST偏差位于±0.5℃范围内占比75%,位于±1℃范围内占比92%,白天的平均偏差和标准差分别为0.07和0.69℃,晚上的平均偏差和标准差分别为-0.04和0.45℃;2015年的平均偏差为-0.07℃,标准差为0.46℃,白天和晚上的匹配点数量分别为3351和4613;2016年平均偏差为0.00℃,标准差为0.61℃,白天和晚上的匹配点数量分别为3189和3911;2017年平均偏差为0.08℃,标准差为0.63℃,白天和晚上的匹配点数量分别为2191和2401;2018年平均偏差为0.08℃,标准差为0.57℃,白天和晚上的匹配点数量分别为1690和2747。通过印证结果对误差的来源和分布进行了探究,VIIRS晚上的数据质量优于白天,2015和2016年的匹配点集中在西太平洋南部和印度洋北部,2017和2018年的匹配点的集中在西太平洋南部,SST偏差有明显的季节性变化。 In this paper,the in-situ data is used to validate the sea surface temperature(SST)that is derived from Suomi-NPP/VIIRS(Visible infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite).The research area is in the location of 80°E-118°E and 10°S-23°N,time range is from May 2015 to December 2018,the collocations of VIIRS and in-situ SST data are generated with the spatial window of 0.02°and the temporal window of 1 hour.The validating results show that the proportion of SST bias ranges in±0.5℃is 75%and 93%in ranges of±1℃;SST mean bias and standard deviation during the day are 0.07 and 0.69℃respectively,-0.04 and 0.45℃at night respectively.The mean bias in 2015 is-0.07℃and standard deviation is 0.46℃,the number of matchups during the day and night are 3351 and 4613 respectively;the mean bias in 2016 is 0.00℃and standard deviation is 0.61℃,the number of matchups during the day and night are 3189 and 3911 respectively;the mean bias in 2017 is 0.08℃and standard deviation is 0.63℃,the number of matchups during the day and night are 2191 and 2401 respectively;the mean bias in 2018 is 0.08℃and standard deviation is 0.57℃,the number of matchups during the day and night are 1690 and 2747 respectively.The source and distribution of errors are investigate through the validation results.The data quality of VIIRS at night is better than that of the day.The matchups in 2015 and 2016 are concentrated in the south of west Pacific and the northern Indian Ocean,and the matchups in 2017 and 2018 are concentrated in the south of western Pacific.The SST bias has seasonal variations.
