摘要
2004年,英国科学家Thompson等人[1]首次在Science上提出"微塑料"(microplastics)一词,即需要借助显微镜才能较好地观察到的塑料颗粒.2008年,在美国华盛顿大学举办的第一届国际海洋微塑料分布、影响及归趋研讨会上,微塑料被定义为直径小于5 mm的塑料颗粒,并得到广泛应用[2].
