In order to clarify the effects of deep tillage, deep tillage combined with the application of straw returning and green manure conversion on soil respiration and flue-cured tobacco growth,Zhongyan 100 was used as the research material, and different tillage methods were set up.The effects of deep tillage on tobacco soil respiration rate and its regulating factors,flue-cured tobacco growth and development, chemical composition and sensory quality were analyzed. The results showed that deep tillage and green manure conversion or straw returning after deep tillage could significantly increase the respiration rate of the tobacco field soil and the total dry matter accumulation of the flue-cured tobacco plants in the dome period.Deep tillage and deep tillage+green manure/straw returning to the field could significantly increase the total amount of neutral aroma substances in the middle and upper tobacco leaves after curing.Conventional cultivation+green manure treatment could significantly increase the content of cembranes degradation products in the middle leaves. However,in the smoking scores of the middle and upper tobacco leaves, conventional tillage treatment and conventional tillage combined with green manure or straw returning treatment were higher than deep tillage treatments.
