Objective To study the application effect of patient controlled analgesia(PCA)visit on pain control of patients after abdominal surgery under general anesthesia. Methods A total of 120 patients with abdominal surgery under general anesthesia in our hospital were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 60 cases in each group. The control group was given routine perioperative visit, while the observation group was given PCA visit on the basis of the control group. The analgesic effect, clinical indexes after PCA use and the incidence of adverse reactions during PCA use were compared between the two groups. Results The excellent and good rate of analgesia effect in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the PCA knowledge degree score was higher than that of the control group, and the dosage of analgesic drugs was more than that of the control group(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the incidences of nausea and vomiting, respiratory depression, dizziness and urinary retention between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion PCA visit applied to pain control of patients after abdominal surgery under general anesthesia can significantly improve the analgesic effect, increase the patients'understanding degree of PCA knowledge, reduce the VAS score, with good safety, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
