摘要
日志写作是一种自我表达方式,不仅使学生学会如何写作,还促使他们表达自己所思所想。研究以美国60位大二学生的日志写作及日志反思为样本,运用Ucinet进行提取和结构化处理,使用NetDraw导入生成知识图谱,再结合共词聚类方法进行实证分析。分析得出,学生日志反思主要探讨认知情感态度转变、自我意识和自我成长、写作及专业能力提升、个人日常生活记录、对职业技能发展思考五个主题。日志写作能够促进学生对五个主题的思考或改变,并有利于学生积极反思。我们的大学教育可借鉴美国大学教育的有益做法,将日志写作和日志反思研究成果应用到大学教育教学管理中,以促进大学生成长成才和大学教育质量提高。
This research analyzes the reflective journal writing done by 60 sophomores in US universities,using social network analysis program UCINET,graph visualization software NetDraw and co-word cluster analysis tools as well.It is found that US students,in their journals,mainly wrote about 1) their cognitive-emotional growth,2) self-awareness or self-identity,3) development of writing and professional skills,4) daily life,and 5) plans for professional development.Journal writing serves both as a means of self-expression as well as a valuable teaching/learning tool,which encourages students to write,facilitates their sharing of experiences and ideas,and promotes reflection and critical thinking among students at the same time.It is therefore advisable for China’s universities to incorporate journal writing into their curricula so as to cultivate high-potential talents.
