Evaluation and prevention of periodontal risk related to orthodontic therapy

摘要根据牙周组织的结构特点,针对不同类型患者和常见的临床问题,从临床正畸治疗安全性的角度出发,概述与正畸治疗相关的牙周风险,从学科间配合方面提出早期发现、治疗和防范的个人建议。 The importance for evaluating the periodontal risk related to orthodontic therapy and ensuring the treatment safety was reviewed and emphasized in the present article according to the characteristics of periodontal tissues and common clinical problems of various orthodontic patients.The proposals of periodontal management during orthodontic therapy were given in outline for risk prevention and multidisciplinary cooperation.
