Cunkou Pulse diagnosis began in the‘hard classics’mature in the pulse.Saint ZHANG Zhong-jing of medicine had been treating patients according to their pulse for Clueless. However, the pulse diagnosis of‘internal organs, cavity micro-lesions’is only a fragment of history books and difficult to verify. In Bianque Canggong Liezhuan,it is said that‘for 30 days,Bianque drank medicine with his words and looked at one of the people in the wall.In this way,he could see the crux of the five viscera’.In Zuozhuan·Chenggong·Chenggong Shinian,it is written that Qinhuan,a famous doctor in the Qin Dynasty, was diagnosed with‘a small and incurable disease’in his pulse, the author thinks that this is the freehand diagnosis of traditional Chinese medicine which is more than 2000 years ahead of Western medicine, and it is the leap of individual medicine into the level of viscera medicine.Modern doctors see viscera, lesions and recognize pathology with the aid of instruments, while traditional Chinese medicine looked at pulse diagnosis more than 2000 years ago.Modern pulse diagnosis is based on‘shape’,which is similar to the image diagnosis of physical examination. The pulse diagnosis technique introduced in this paper is beneficial to the compatibility of TCM diagnosis and modern medical diagnosis.TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment(pulse-shaped diagnosis,Pulse-qi syndrome differentiation)will further reproduce TCM stand high, look farther, comprehensive,is the specific practice of scientific TCM.
