摘要
在高能物理宇宙线观测中,探测器时间标定系统的精度至关重要.对于LHAASO实验WCDA探测器,时间测量的精度决定了测量原初宇宙线方向的灵敏度.为达到0.2 ns的时间精度,给出了一种基于物理簇射事例的时间刻度方法,并实现刻度探测器阵列的离线刻度软件.使用蒙特卡洛模拟数据对该方法进行检验,方法能够满足时间刻度的要求.
In high energy physics,the precision of time calibration system plays an important role in cosmic ray measurements.The precision of time measurement is important to the sensitivity of primary cosmic rays direction for WCDA detector of LHAASO.To achieve time precision of 0.2 ns,a time calibration method based on physics shower events is presented and an offline calibration software is developed in order to calibrate the detector array.Monte-Carlo simulated events are used to validate this method,which shows that the method can fulfil the requirements of time calibration.
