非洲国家长期重视推动区域经济一体化进程,将区域经济合作视为建设更强大和可持续的非洲经济之重要动力来源。非洲大陆自由贸易区是非洲联盟《2063年议程》的旗舰项目,也是推动非洲实现联合国“2030年可持续发展目标”的关键性倡议,其建立标志着非洲经济一体化迈入里程碑式的新阶段。非洲大陆自由贸易区正式启动后,区域内关税和非关税壁垒将大大降低,区域内贸易和投资水平将显著提升;利用统一大市场会带来规模经济效应,各成员国经济多元化和工业化进程有望加速,并将推动区域价值链的深入发展,为非洲经济结构转型和可持续发展构建更坚实的基础和更广阔的市场空间。
Promoting regional economic integration has long been a high priority for African leaders.Regional economic cooperation has been viewed as an important source of building a strong and sustainable African economy in African Union’s documents.Being a flagship project of the AU’s“Agenda 2063”and a key initiative to achieve UN’s“Sustainable Development Goals 2030”,the African Continental Free Trade Area(AfCFTA)is also the free trade zone with the largest number of members in the world since the establishment of the World Trade Organization.Its establishment marked a milestone in the process of African economic integration.When entering the implementation phase,the tariff and non-tariff barriers in the AfCFTA will be greatly reduced and the level of intra-regional trade and investment will be significantly improved.By taking advantage of the economies of scale brought about by a continental market,the process of economic diversification and industrialization will be accelerated and the development of regional value chain will be strengthened.As a result,AfCFTA will build a more solid foundation and create a broader market for promoting structural transformation and sustainable development in Africa.
