平行于液/固界面的层流对界面稳定性的影响 被引量:2

INFLUENCE OF LAMINAR FLOW PARALLEL TO LIQUID/SOLID INTERFACE ON INTERFACE STABILITY

摘要 研究了快速液相层流对界面稳定性的影响,实验发现快速液相层流对凝固界面有极大的稳定化作用,从而证明了 Delves 和 McFadden 等的理论预测。从理论上分析了这种形式的流动对功能晶体材料的制备所显示的优势。 The coupling of liquid flow instability with the L/S interface instability has be-come one of the most attractive field in modern solidification science.Some researchers havepredicted that the flow parallel to L/S interface has a stabilizing effect on the interface.How-ever,no direct experimental results have been reported.An experimental setup is developed forthe study of the effect of forced melt flow on the L/S interface during directional solidificationprocess.The flow is a Layered Couette Flow parallel to L/S interface.Transparent model alloySCN-2wt-% Ace,sealed in a thin glass sample cell(spacing gap about 350 μm),is used in thestudy.The solidification process is observed and photographed under a SMI stereo-microscope.For the first time it has been proved experimentally that the above-mentioned laminar flow hasa much stabilizing effect on the interface.
