摘要
时代赋予西部地区高等教育新的使命,经济高质量发展、创新驱动战略的实施和"一带一路"倡议的推进给西部地区高等教育发展带来了新的机遇。当前我国西部地区高等教育仍面临高水平领军人才短缺、供需两端错位、基础保障不足、发展环境较差等问题。面对新形势新任务,中央政府应进一步加大对西部地区高等教育发展的倾斜支持力度,加快西部地区高等教育发展,提高办学水平,为西部地区经济社会发展提供有力支撑。
The era has endowed western higher education with a new mission. High-quality economic development, innovation-driven strategy and the construction of "The Belt and Road" have brought new opportunities for the rapid development of western higher education. At present, higher education in the western regions of China is still faced with the challenges such as shortage of high-level leading talents, mismatch between supply and demand, and insufficient basic guarantee. Therefore, faced with the new situation and new tasks, the central government should further strengthen the support for the development of higher education in the western regions, accelerate the development of higher education, improve education level and provide sustentation for the development of the western regions.
