一种提高行波管效率的耦合结构小型化设计 被引量:2

Miniaturization Design of Coupling Structure for Efficiency Improvement of Traveling Wave Tube

摘要 作为微波功率模块的核心部件,行波管被广泛应用于通信、雷达以及电子对抗等众多军事装备系统中。为解决行波管小型化、高效率的技术难点,针对某X波段螺旋线行波管的输能耦合结构开展小型化研究。采用在螺旋线末端加载调配筒实现输能系统长度压缩的方法,不但可以使行波管的输入窗阻抗变换尺寸缩短33.0%;输出窗阻抗变换尺寸缩短21.4%,而且行波管整管效率得到提升。 Herein.we reported the miniaturization design of the energy transfer coupling structure of X-band mini-traveling wave tubes(TWTs).a core component of microwave power module.for the purpose of efficiency improvement.The original work was the novel design method.in which the energy transmission length was shortened by loading the regulative tube at the end of the helix slow wave structure(SWS).The impedance matching structure was designed and optimized.The properties of the miniaturized coupling structure was mathematically modeled and numerically simulated with software HFSS.The simulated results show that the impedance-transform sizes of the input/output windows were decreased by 33.0% and 21.4%.respectively.and that the total TWT efficiency was improved.We suggest that the newly-developed energy transfer coupling structure be of some technological interest in miniaturization design of mini-TWTs other than X-band.
