摘要
"转"是翻译梵文语音学术语的一个意译词。在汉语等韵学中,三十六字母与各个韵轮流拼合叫转,声韵拼合图也叫转。照二拼二等韵,也拼三等韵;照三只拼三等韵。照二照三同时拼三等韵叫内转,照二单拼二等韵叫外转。"摄"本来是个佛教术语,相当于汉语的"概括""包括",与内外转的"转"意义相同,都是指几个音相似的韵组合成的一个单位,所以在韵图中摄可以代替转。
Transfer is a free translation translated from a term of Sanskrit Phonetics. Take Chinese Equiprosody for example. Thirty-six letters are combined with different rhymes in turn that’s what we call transfer. The combination diagram of phonetics is transfer,too. Initial Consonant Ⅱ spells the second class rhymes as well as the third class rhymes. Initial Consonant Ⅱ and Initial Consonant Ⅲ are the internal transfer when they spell the third class rhymes at the same time. Initial Consonant Ⅱ is called the external transfer when it merely spells the second class rhymes. Rhyme group,which means "generalizing"or "including"in Chinese,used to be a term of Buddhism. Rhyme group means the same as transfer in internal and external transfer. Both rhyme group and transfer refer to a unit that is made up of rhymes with several similar sounds,so they can replace each other in the rhyme diagram.
