摘要
以二氧化钛(TiO2)和氧化锌(ZnO)粉体为前驱体,通过固相法合成了不同ZnO摩尔分数(x)的TiO2-ZnO复合粉体材料。复合材料的结构、形貌及性能分别用X射线衍射仪(XRD)、扫描电镜(SEM)和紫外-可见(UV-Vis)吸收光谱仪等仪器进行了表征,同时研究了不同ZnO摩尔分数和煅烧温度对TiO2-ZnO复合材料结构和形貌的影响及复合材料对甲基橙的光催化活性。结果表明,煅烧温度对复合材料的结构和形貌影响很大。当t=600℃,x=0.440时,TiO2-ZnO粉体由纤锌矿结构的ZnO、锐钛矿结构的TiO2和少量的Ti3Zn3O0.5共同组成,且界面颗粒接触紧密。ZnO和TiO2的复合不仅提高了复合材料在紫外区的吸收,而且也增强了其在可见光区的吸收。另外,TiO2-ZnO复合材料(x=0.440)对有机染料甲基橙有非常好的光催化活性,在紫外光照射120 min后甲基橙的降解率高达95.7%。
Using titanium dioxide(TiO2)and zinc oxide(ZnO)powders as precursors,the TiO2-ZnO composite powders with different ZnO molar fraction(x)were synthesized via the solid phase method.The structure,morphology and properties of the composite materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscope(SEM)and ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)absorption spectrometer,respectively.The effects of different ZnO molar fraction and calcination temperature on the structure and morphology of TiO2-ZnO composites were investigated,and the photocatalytic activity of the composites for degradation of methyl orange was also studied.The results show that the calcination temperature has a great influence on the structure and morphology of the composites.With t=600℃ and x=0.440,the TiO2-ZnO powder is composed of wurtzite ZnO,anatase TiO2 and a small amount of Ti3Zn3O0.5,and the interface particles are closely contacted.The combination of ZnO and TiO2 not only enhances the absorption of the composites in the ultraviolet region,but also enhances the absorption in the visible region.In addition,the TiO2-ZnO composite(x=0.440)exhibits good photocatalytic activity for organic dye methyl orange,and the degradation rate of methyl orange reaches 95.7% after UV irradiation for 120 min.
