CFD Analysis of Aerodynamic Characteristics of Ship’s Wind-Assisted Rotor Sail

摘要 考虑转子工作环境特点,采用计算流体动力学(Compulational Fluid Dynamics,CFD)方法分析转子样机在多种速度比下的空气动力特性,计算目标转子在实际风场环境中的升力系数与阻力系数,研究两个转子之间的流场干扰作用。计算结果表明:转子的临界Re为0.5×105~1.0×105,长径比为4.92的转子在速度比约为3.50时升力系数达到最大。对试验船舶转子系统进行CFD模拟发现,试验船舶的转子系统之间存在相互干扰,转子系统节约轴功率约为5%。通过百吨级样船试验发现转子系统节约轴功率可达10%。 CFD(Compulational Fluid Dynamics)method is used to analyze the aerodynamic characteristics of the rotor prototype under various rotational speed ratios,calculating the lift coefficient and drag coefficient of the target rotor in actual wind field environment.The flow field interference between the two rotors is studied.The calculation results show that the critical Reynolds number of the rotor is about(0.5-1.0)×105,and the rotor with a long diameter ratio of 4.92 has the maximum lift coefficient at a speed ratio of about 3.50.The CFD simulation of the rotor system on the ship under tests shows that there is mutual interference between the rotor systems on the ship,and the saving of the shaft power of the rotor system is about 5%.Up to 10%of shaft energy saving was seen in trial of the rotor system on a 100-ton prototype ship.
