摘要
为了提高云系统的节能水平,同时保证用户的服务质量,提出了基于M/M/c休假排队理论的虚拟机(VM)调度策略.考虑到VM状态频繁切换对系统造成的损失,引入同步休眠和异步休眠相结合的休眠机制,同时设定休眠唤醒阈值以保证用户的服务质量.构建具有多服务台休假排队的二维Markov随机模型,运用拟生灭过程(QBD)和矩阵几何解等数学工具,给出了系统用户请求的平均延迟、处于各状态的平均VM数和空闲率等性能指标的解析式.最后通过数值实验验证了所提策略的有效性.
In order to improve the energy-saving level of cloud system and guarantee the service quality of users,the virtual machine(VM)scheduling strategy based on M/M/c vacation queuing theory is proposed.Considering the switching cost between states of virtual machines,a sleep mechanism that combines synchronous sleep and asynchronous sleep is proposed,and the sleep wake-up threshold is set to ensure the quality of service of users.The two-dimensional Markov stochastic model with multi-server vacation queuing is constructed.Then,using the quasi-birth-and-death(QBD)process and the matrix-geometry solution method,the analytical expressions of the average delay of user request,the average number of virtual machines in each state and the idle rate are given.Finally,numerical experiments are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
