美国公立大学如何培养拔尖人才——以亚利桑那州立大学巴雷特荣誉学院为例

How to Train Top Talents in American Public Universities?——Take Barrett Honors College in Arizona State University as an Example

摘要 培养拔尖人才是加快建设创新型国家的战略选择,荣誉教育是美国高等教育大众化阶段培养拔尖创新人才的主要教育形式。本文以美国亚利桑那州立大学巴雷特荣誉学院为研究对象,通过对其荣誉教育选拔机制、培养体系、课程设置、师资队伍等方面的梳理和分析,得出美国公立大学荣誉教育具有重基础、多样化、严进出的特点,其一流的师资队伍和优质的教育资源强有力地保障了拔尖人才的培养质量,为美国的科技发展培养了一批创新人才。 Cultivating top talents is a strategic choice to accelerate the construction of an innovative country.Honor education is the main form of education in which the United States cultivates top innovative talents in the stage of Higher education massification.This paper takes the Barrett Honors College of Arizona State University as the research object.Through the analysis of its honor education selection mechanism,training system,curriculum,and faculty,it is concluded that valuing foundation,diversity and quality is the main feature of honor education of public universities in the United States.Its first-class faculty and high-quality educational resources have strongly ensured the quality of top talents and cultivated a group of innovative talents for the development of science and technology in the United States.
