迎着新中国黎明的曙光,伴随共和国一起成长的新中国第一所女子普通高等学校——中华女子学院的建立和发展,凝聚着党和国家的亲切关怀,体现了全国妇联的正确领导,倾注着陈慕华的心血和智慧。在中华女子学院建校70周年之际,回眸学校受到的特殊关怀和走过的特殊历程,研究陈慕华的女子高等教育理念对学校发展的指导,旨在坚守办学初心,牢记育人使命,在新时代继续砥砺前行。
China Women’s University(CWU)was officially built in 1949,the same year of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.The establishment and development of the CWU have represented the cordial care of the Party and the country,underscored the firm leadership of the All-China Women’s Federation(ACWF),and shown hard work and the wisdom of Chen Muhua(1921—2011),former president of the ACWF.The paper makes a review of the special attention granted to the CWU by senior Party and state leaders and its glorious history,and undertakes studies of the theories and thoughts proposed by Chen on women-oriented universities and colleges amid the celebrations of the 70th founding anniversary of the CWU in a drive to refresh its original aspirations,and forge ahead in the new era.
