摘要
五四运动是一场以先进青年知识分子为先锋、广大人民群众参加的彻底反帝反封建的伟大爱国革命运动,是中华民族生死存亡时刻抗争的高潮,拉开了破旧立新的序幕,开启了救亡图存的道路选择,并以其伟大的精神和实践力量绵延百年,对新时代中华民族复兴具有重要的意义。五四运动留下了丰富的对外交往经验,积淀成为中国外交的基本原则与精神,至今仍发挥着积极作用。因此,从国际关系角度对五四运动展开研究具有较大价值:一方面可以更全面地梳理五四运动爆发的国际因素与国际影响,揭示其在中国对外关系历程中的重要地位,另一方面可以明晰五四运动的外交遗产,总结百年来中国参与国际关系的发展变化。从五四运动爆发到新时代倡导构建人类命运共同体,中华民族在国际关系中的角色和地位发生了巨大变化,这正是继承五四遗产并不断在实践基础上创新发展的结果。
The May 4th movement is a great and thorough patriotic revolutionary movement against imperialism and feudalism led by advanced young intellectuals and participated by the broad masses of the people.It is the climax for the Chinese nation to fight in that life-and-death survival time which marks the beginning of breaking the old rules and carrying out the national salvation.The movement exerts great impact on the following hundred years and is of great significance to the revival of the Chinese nation.The May 4th Movement has left a wealth of experience in foreign exchanges,accumulating into the basic principles and spirit of China's diplomacy,which still plays a positive role up to now.Therefore,it is of great value to study the May 4th movement from the perspective of international relations.On the one hand,it can sort out the international factors and international influence of the outbreak of the May 4th movement more comprehensively and reveal its important position in the course of China's foreign relations;on the other hand,it can clarify the diplomatic heritage of the May 4th movement,and summarize the development and changes of China's participation in international relations in the past century.From the outbreak of the May 4th movement to the advocacy of building a community of shared future for mankind in the new era,great changes have taken place in the role and status of the Chinese nation in international relations in the past hundred years,which is the outcome of inheriting the May 4th heritage and constantly innovating and developing on the basis of practice.
