“以写促说”对英语口语影响效果的实证研究——以高等职业院校为例

Empirical Study on the Influence of Writing-to-speak on Students’ Oral English: Taking Higher Vocational Colleges as an Example

摘要 本实证研究旨在探讨“以写促说”对高等职业院校学生英语口语的影响。受试者为40名南通某高等职业院校商务英语专业一年级的学生。本文对试验前后各项数据作了统计分析,结果表明“以写促说”对学生英语口语的流利度、准确度及复杂度均起到了积极作用。笔者认为,将“写”引入口语教学,是提高学生口语交际能力有效且可行的教学方法。 This empirical study was undertaken to explore effects of writing-to-speak on higher vocational college students'oral English.The subjects in this study were two classes of 40 freshmen,who majored in Business English at a higher vocational college in Nantong.Statistical analyses were made on the data collected before and after the experiment.The results suggest that writing-to-speak can help improve higher vocational college students’oral English in terms of fluency,accuracy and complexity.The author holds that introducing writing to oral English teaching is an effective and feasible approach to enhance students'communicative competence.
