A potentiometric titration method for rapid determination of BaO in glassware using tetraphenylboron ion melective electrode as an indicator electrode is introduced in the present paper.The determining condition and the interference are discussed.Relative standard deviation of determining standard sample NBS 89 containing 1.4% BaO and glass sample containing 4.25% BaO is 2.9% and 1.1% respectively.
